Our Platinum & Performance Grills can be installed on Outdoor Classic & Signature Cabinets Series and NewAge Appliance Carts. Our Grills can also be installed on custom-built cabinets, instructions for which are provided in the Installation Guide supplied with the appliance.

Does the Grill require a professional contractor for installation?

Accepted Answer

The Grills should be installed by a Licensed Gas Fitter, especially for the Natural Gas Version. Gas appliances can become hazardous if they are not installed properly. Before each cooking session users are required to ensure there is no gas leakage and the appliance is functioning soundly.

Electric Ignition (Pulse Ignitor) does not work, what should be done?

Accepted Answer

Check if the Pulse Igniter button is producing a snapping sound when pushed. Remove the Cooking Grate and Flame Tamer Panel to check for the spark on the electrode as expected when the Igniter button is pushed. Make sure that the AA battery is not oxidized and contains enough charge. Please refer to the Troubleshooting section of the Installation Guide for more information.

Question 8

Rotisserie lights goes out immediately upon release of the control knob, what could be the cause?

Continue holding the safety valve button in a depressed position until the burner remains lit when released. Please refer to the Troubleshooting section of the Installation Guide for more information.

The Burner goes out when set to low, what should be done?

Accepted Answer

Check gas supply. Check if the main shut-off valve is open. Check if the supply hose is pinched. Please refer to the Troubleshooting section of the Installation Guide for more information.

The burners burn with a yellow flame, accompanied by the smell of gas, what should be done?

Accepted Answer

If the burner produces yellow flames, the oxygen flow may be restricted because of spider webs or other debris. Please refer to the Troubleshooting section of the Installation Guide for more information.

The Infrared burner flashbacks during operation, what could be the cause?

Accepted Answer

The ceramic tiles may be overloaded with grease drippings and build-up that causes the Burner Ports to be clogged. Please refer to the Troubleshooting section of the Installation Guide for more information.

Infrared Burner only comes with 40 in. Performance Grill and with 36 in. & 40 in. Platinum Grill.
